Carissa is regarded for her exceptional settlement and negotiation skills as a Mediator. She holds her Certificate in Conflict Dispute Resolution from Mitchell Hamline’s Dispute Resolution Institute, consistently ranked in the top dispute resolution programs by U.S. News & World Report.

Carissa is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Arizona. She has offices in Brentwood, Tennessee, and Phoenix, Arizona. She focuses her practice on “all things family,” which spans the gamut of divorce, legal separation, annulment, custody disputes, visitation and parenting time disputes, grandparent’s visitation, child support, alimony and spousal maintenance, contempt and enforcement, termination of parental rights, juvenile dependency actions, and adoptions.

Carissa spends her time outside the office with family and friends, practicing yoga and aerial yoga, walking her husky, and traveling. She loves to volunteer her time to serve those less fortunate and those in need. She is a staunch supporter of Musically Fed and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In Arizona, she served as a Judge Pro Tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Courts for several years. In Tennessee, Carissa is a Rule 31 Mediator with a dual designation in family law and domestic violence, as approved by the Tennessee Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts.

Rachell has experience as a paralegal spanning from civil litigation to construction defect to family law. Her attention to detail and organizational skills are unmatched. She is best described as dedicated, passionate, flexible, reliable, and having a positive attitude. Rachell also holds her real estate license in several states – an impressive feat.
